Unisol MFD (mimimum fibre damage - wool) (2032)
Unisol MFD Liquid is specifically designed to improve the dyeing performance of wool and related animal fibres such as merino wool, cashmere, mohair, and angora.
As well as promoting the level dyeing performance of all acid dye types on wool, as a dyebath additive, it also protects the individual wool strands during dyeing.
Unisol MFD in the dyebath enables the dyebath temperature to be lowered without losing colour yield. Instead of dyeing wool at 95 - 100°C, it is possible to dye at 85°C.
It is also a good oil and grease emulsifier and helps to achieve even results when dyeing fibre that has not been fully prepared.
