Manutex RS (2005)

Manutex RS is an alginate based thickener made from seaweed, and is particularly recommended for printing/painting wool or silk with acid dyes under acidic conditions.

We also recommend Manutex RS as a general purpose thickener, as it is stable under mildly acidic and alkaline conditions. 

A Manutex RS stock paste can be made up very easily and quickly, and is ready for use within minutes. If stored in an airtight container in the dark, a stock paste can last for several weeks.

Manutex F700 can also be used when printing/painting with Reactive CD and Procion MX dyes. When choosing a thickener for use under strongly alkaline conditions such as discharge printing or devore, we recommend using Indalca PA3R.
