Decrolin
Decrolin powder (used in combination with the thickener Indalca PA3R) is widely used in the discharge printing of wool, silk, cotton, linen, and viscose rayon.
This is preferred to Formosul powder when discharge printing wool as it is not alkaline.
Discharge printing is a method of applying a design to dyed fabric by printing or painting a discharge paste directly to the fabric. The discharge paste destroys the colour on the fabric, and once washed out, leaves behind a lighter area.
